WHY AM I “WAITING”?

I recently finished WAKE, the first book in the Watersong series, and am glad that book two will be released so quickly this year. The first book seemed like a lead-up to much more exciting things in store. I have no idea what to expect next.

While I didn’t entirely relate to a few of the characters in the first installment, I do think that there is great potential for this series, which is darker than I expected it to be. And look at that cover! It really is quite beautiful, don’t you think? The feathers are a great addition – and something I never would have expected to see in a story about sirens.

What are you “waiting on” this week?

I have not read the Trylle series yet. I have it, but just haven’t touched it yet. I will be changing that here soon, since I know others who love that series.

Awesome pick! I love it when publishers and authors waste no time to publish the next book in a series. The waiting is always so torturing!
Glad you liked Wake. Hopefully I’ll enjoy it too whenever I get to read it.:)
